What we don’t do directly
- –GHARD does not directly conduct reference checks, background checks, drug testing, or motor-vehicle reports.
- –We may coordinate with your vendor or recommend an outside provider; those costs are billed separately.
- –No temporary, temp-to-hire, seasonal, or high-volume placement.
- –We don’t maintain a general public resume database — candidates apply only to active openings.
GHARD Placement Assurance
If a candidate we place voluntarily resigns or is terminated for cause within 60 calendar days of their start date, GHARD will conduct one replacement search for the same position without an additional professional recruiting fee — subject to the conditions below.
- GHARD is notified within five business days of the separation.
- The position, responsibilities, location, and compensation stay substantially the same.
- The client participates in the replacement process in a timely way.
- The account remains current, and approved pass-through costs remain the client’s responsibility.

Recruiting questions
How does pricing work?
Recruiting is billed at $90/hour while the search is active. If a candidate is hired, 100% of the hourly fees paid for that search are credited toward the final placement fee. If the search closes without a placement, hourly fees remain earned for the work completed.
What is the placement fee?
The placement fee is 15% of first-year base salary for standard professional and management roles, and 18–20% for executive, confidential, specialized, or hard-to-fill roles. The exact percentage is stated in the proposal before the search begins. It’s calculated on first-year base salary only.
Do subscribers get a discount?
Yes. Active subscribers receive a recruiting discount based on their tier (5% / 10% / 15%), applied to GHARD professional fees only. Discounts don’t stack unless approved in writing.
Do you guarantee a hire?
No. We don’t promise to fill every role or guarantee a timeline. We do commit to a structured process, weekly updates, and the Placement Assurance replacement search described above.
